Cutting Loose a romance novel by Tara Janzen

Tara Janzen’s Cutting Loose is an extension of her Steel Street series. The Steele Street series: Crazy Hot; Crazy Cool; Crazy Wild; Crazy Love; Crazy Kisses; Crazy Sweet; and On the Loose. I’ve read most of these books and if you like one you will like them all. These stories are all action packed suspense with high powered muscle cars, lots of high tech gadgets, espionage, and physical and emotional strength along with the classic romance of boy meets/rescues girl.

In Cutting Loose, Zach meets Lily while undercover as a drug lord in El Salvador. He saves her and sends her on her way back to the states, unbeknownst to both of them that she has a piece of intelligence that several international groups would kill for. Once everyone figures out that Lily must have the missing piece, the CIA sends Zach to retrieve it from Lily. Of course the bad guys want it as well and the suspense begins with a shootout in Lily’s house and an exciting car chase across New Mexico, where believe it or not, they get lost. Nothing like trying to survive to get their romance going. Lily finally believes that he is not a drug lord and trusts him to keep her alive along with the team at Steele Street that is feeding them very important information through a computer in the 1968 Shelby Mustang that Zach is driving.

Cutting Loose is a very fast paced novel with so much fun stuff. It’s like watching an action movie where the hero gets the girl. There is the serious aspect of international espionage, but it’s mainly a fun book. I hope you enjoy!
